GAIR and XYZ have jointly unveiled the "Getting-AI-Right Accelerated Program," designed to assist organizations in Singapore in identifying practical challenges addressable through generative AI. The program includes developing prototypes for generative AI solutions and transitioning them to production.

The primary objective is to enhance Singapore's standing as a globally recognized and trustworthy AI hub by expediting the creation and adoption of responsible and impactful AI solutions. The initiative equips organizations with generative AI toolsets to drive innovation. A tailored workshop, under the Getting-AI-Right Accelerated Program, provides seamless access to Getting AI Right expertise and resources for up to 100 Singaporean organizations. These organizations can leverage custom-built, user-friendly generative AI toolsets in a dedicated cloud-based environment to construct and test their generative AI solutions.

To strengthen in-house AI capabilities, participating organizations will attend a mandatory full-day workshop sponsored and conducted by XYZ. AI practitioners and developers will receive hands-on training from GAIR experts, identifying use cases and building generative AI solution prototypes using toolsets from the Innovation Sandbox.

The initiative offers the opportunity for continued collaboration with GAIR and XYZ to transform prototypes into minimum viable products (MVPs). A panel of technology experts and investors will evaluate these MVPs based on various criteria, with high-potential projects designated as "Capstone Projects" and recognized at the Getting-AI-Right Accelerated Program Awards ceremony.

The 8-week workshops aim to identify and address 100 generative AI use cases across government and industry within the next 100 days. The Getting-AI-Right Accelerated Program is part of a broader collaboration focused on supercharging AI adoption across the public sector and industry. Future initiatives include talent development, an AI startup accelerator program, and further exploration of Responsible AI principles.

The program seeks to position Singapore as a leading global AI hub by fostering a local ecosystem and providing a systematic approach for organizations to develop and deploy generative AI solutions responsibly, with built-in security and data governance.
